The Royal Bed
William LeBaron produced and distributed The Royal Bed, a satirical comedy film made in the United States in 1931 prior to the Code. The movie was coordinated by and featured Lowell Sherman, alongside Mary Astor and Anthony Bushell. J. Walter Ruben adapted the screenplay from the 1928 play The Queen's Husband by Robert E. Sherwood. It would be one of only a few RKO films to be released in both English and French versions.
