Reporter asked the question- Is 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' political? Jairam Ramesh said this
HYDERABAD:Jairam Ramesh, the Congress general secretary in charge of communications, stated that the current Bharat Jodo Yatra in Telangana has three targets to hit with two eyes, and that the TRS and AIMIM practice the same politics as the BJP and RSS.
Ramesh claimed that the TRS and AIMIM are giving the BJP an "oxygen and booster dose" at a press conference from the Makthal constituency during the break of the Bharat Jodo Yatra with his party colleagues.
Ramesh stated, "Our aim is not just to focus on BJP and RSS, but also on the nature of TRS and AIMIM's political activity and political mobilization."
In his explanation of the goals of the Jodo Yatra, he stated that the Yatra is being undertaken to combat economic inequality, social polarization based on religion, caste, language, food, and dress, and the political dictatorship that culminated in the Prime Minister establishing the monarchy.
The Constitution is not being heeded. There are no constitutional rights granted to the states. We are witnessing a single individual and a single party.BJY is therefore beginning its journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and aiming to be finished by the middle of February 2023.Its goals transcend parties, he stated.
He went on to say that the Yatra has been met with an overwhelming response from the public, and he believed that the Yatra had also helped the party greatly.
“Since the beginning of this yatra, Congress leaders have changed. After this Yatra, you will see a new Congress,” he stated.
There were a number of prominent Congress leaders in attendance, including MP Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP Bhatti Vikramarka, Madhu Yaskhi, Ch Vamshi Chand Reddy, SA Sampath, and Jetti Kusuma Kumar.
Jai Ramesh stated that Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy had crossed Lakshman Rekha by supporting the BJP candidate in the Munugode bye-election. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy had crossed Lakshman Rekha.During the press conference, he was responding to a question from the reporters.
"We are a democratic party in Congress; we accept different points of view and opinions, and individuals are free to say what they want to say."However, every democratic party has a Lakshman Rekha. You will receive a notice requiring you to respond to the show cause notice if you cross that Lakshman Rekha.Fine if the response is satisfactory. He stated, "If it is not satisfactory, action is taken."
However, he went on to say that Venkat Reddy probably will respond to the notice of cause, and the next course of action will be determined by the response.
